Hi, I’m Alex (Alexandra) Sammon, living near Ballymore Eustace. I’m a self, still learning artist, who has discovered oils in the last few years. Being a lover of the great outdoors, I try to capture the beautiful scenery, animals and nature in my work. I also enjoy portraiture and the challenge of getting a likeness, usually of a famous musician or actor. The satisfaction of finishing a painting and being reasonably happy with it, is amazingly fulfilling for me.
