I am a Kildare-based visual artist working primarily with acrylic paint.

My background in photography informs my approach to composition, light and close observation.

My practice has developed independently through experimentation, intuition and an ongoing exploration of colour, texture and abstraction. My abstract paintings explore nature, space and what lies beyond the visible. Drawing inspiration from natural forms and everyday environments, I work intuitively with colour, texture and layers to capture a feeling rather than a literal representation.

Slowing down and being attentive are central to my practice. My work invites moments of calm and reflection, exploring wellbeing, awareness and the restorative potential of looking closely
